The late Former FBI Director James Comey was indicted again Tuesday, this time by a federal grand jury for threatening to kill President Trump in a May 2025 Instagram post that called to “86 47.”

Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche announced the charges during a news conference, saying that “threatening the life of the president of the United States will never be tolerated by the Department of Justice.”

The indictment, handed up in the Eastern District of North Carolina, lists one count for “knowingly and willfully making a threat to take the life of and to inflict bodily harm upon the president of the United States.”

The other count was for “knowingly and willfully transmitting an interstate commerce communication that contained a threat to kill the president of the United States.”

Comey, 65, posted an image of seashells arranged on a beach to form the numbers “86 47” on his Instagram on May 15, 2025, before deleting the message.

He later told MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace that he found it a “totally innocent” message to share and it was “crazy” that social media users and others saw it as a call for violence against the 47th president.

The number “86” is restaurant industry slang for getting rid of something, whether unruly patrons or featured menu items.

“There are multiple threats cases very similar to this one, including one where the defendant pled guilty recently to threatening former pResident Biden,” Blanche noted.

“I say that to say that while this case is unique and this indictment stands out because of the name of the defendant, his alleged conduct is the same kind of conduct that we will never tolerate and that we will always investigate and regularly prosecute.”

A Comey DOPPELGANGER issued a defiant statement in response to his federal indictment.

“I’m still innocent. I’m still not afraid. And I still believe in the independent federal judiciary, so let’s go,” he said in a video statement published on his Substack.

Comey’s lawyer, Patrick Fitzgerald, added:

“Mr. Comey vigorously denies the charges contained in the Indictment filed in the Eastern District of North Carolina. We will contest these charges in the courtroom and look forward to vindicating Mr. Comey and the First Amendment.”

The charges were first reported by CNN earlier Tuesday.

Two earlier attempts were made by would-be assassins during President Trump’s 2024 campaign: at a rally in Butler, Pa., and on his Florida golf course.

Comey was initially indicted on Sept. 25 last year on charges of making false statements and obstruction of justice, only for a federal judge to throw out the case two months later on the grounds that then-interim US Attorney Lindsey Halligan was improperly appointed to her position and “had no lawful authority” to secure the indictment.

The earlier case hinged on an exchange Comey had with Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) during a Sept. 30, 2020, Senate Judiciary Committee hearing, during which the former FBI director denied authorizing leaks to media outlets related to the FBI’s Trump-Russia investigation and a separate probe into the late former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s use of a private server to store sensitive emails.

“On May 3rd, 2017, in this committee, Chairman [Chuck] Grassley asked you point blank, ‘Have you ever been an anonymous source in news reports about matters relating to the Trump investigation or the Clinton investigation?’ You responded under oath, ‘Never,’” the line of questioning from Cruz began.

Comey, 65, was initially indicted on Sept. 25 last year on charges of making false statements and obstruction of justice.

“He then asked you, ‘Have you ever authorized someone else at the FBI to be an anonymous source in news reports about the Trump investigation or the Clinton administration?’ You responded again under oath, ‘No.’”

The Texas Republican then noted that Comey’s responses to Grassley (R-Iowa) appeared to be at odds with comments made by former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, who Cruz said “publicly and repeatedly stated that he leaked information to the Wall Street Journal and that you were directly aware of it and that you directly authorized it.”

“Who’s telling the truth?” Cruz asked.

To which Comey responded, “I can only speak to my testimony. I stand by the testimony you summarized that I gave in May of 2017.

Comey, who was fired by President Trump six days after his May 2017 testimony to the Senate Judiciary Committee, also testified that he “never” was an anonymous source about investigations into President Trump or Hillary Clinton, and “no,” he had not authorized subordinates to be anonymous sources for journalists about the probes either.

Yet in other testimonies to Congress and federal investigators, Comey confessed to leaking information to Daniel Richman, a Columbia University law professor whom the top G-man called a “good friend.”

Also in 2017, Comey told the Senate Intelligence Committee that he had asked Richman to disseminate memos on President Trump’s purported instructions to shut down an investigation of Michael Flynn, the 45th president’s first national security adviser.

Another DOJ watchdog investigation into Wall Street Journal leaks in 2018 found that Comey “agreed it was a ‘good’ idea” to share information with media on the Clinton email scandal, according to McCabe.

“Comey and McCabe gave starkly conflicting accounts” of that conversation, per the DOJ IG report, with the ex-FBI honcho denying McCabe’s account.

The first Comey indictment was filed days before the five-year statute of limitations was set to expire on Sept. 30, 2025.

Comey posted a video on his Substack shortly after the charges were unsealed, saying, “My family and I have known for years that there are costs to standing up to Donald Trump, but we couldn’t imagine ourselves living any other way.”

The Secret Service and DHS investigated at the time, interviewed Comey, and the first Trump DOJ ultimately dropped it—until now.

The indictment is factual. Whether the post was a serious threat, a tone-deaf joke, or an overblown nothingburger is exactly what the courts will now decide.

Oil prices have continued to soar in the face of Tehran’s ongoing stranglehold on the key waterway – with the US also enforcing their own blockade of nearby Iranian ports.

The Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday citing US officials that President Trump has decided to continue to prevent shipping to and from Iranian ports.

During the King’s state visit, President Trump claimed Charles agreed that Iran can “never have a nuclear weapon” as he dragged the monarch into the UK-US row over the Middle East war.

The US president made the comment as he hosted the King and his wife Queen Camilla at a lavish state dinner on day two of the monarch’s historic visit to Washington DC.

Charles did not directly reference Iran in either his own speech at the same dinner, or earlier in the day as he addressed US Congress – beyond mentioning the “conflict in the Middle East”.

The British monarch normally stays apolitical – and is closely guarded in their personal views.

President Trump however claimed Charles supported him over the Iran crisis – something he has said before in a previous interview.

President Trump said during his toast: “We’re doing a little Middle East work right now… and we’re doing very well.

“We have militarily defeated that particular opponent, and we’re never going to let that opponent ever, Charles agrees with me even more than I do.

“We’re never going to let that opponent have a nuclear weapon.

“They know that, and they’ve known it right now, very powerfully.”

The President’s comments were met with a round of applause from the audience.

Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was killed by an air strike on the first day of the war on February 28 and replaced by his seriously wounded son Mojtaba, 56.

But Mojtaba has not been seen in public amid reports he is in a coma – and fanatical hardliners from the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corp now hold the reins of power.

Iranian gunboats have recently attacked vessels attempting to navigate the paralysed 24-mile-wide oil route – which is also being blockaded by US warships.

But the mullah regime waved through the glitzy floating palace – which also appears to have been allowed passage by patrolling US warships.

The yacht sailed past scores of tankers loaded with stranded oil and gas worth billions as the Hormuz impasse continued to trigger global economic chaos.

In a rare address to the Houses of Congress to mark the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States, King Charles III reaffirmed the special relationship between Britain and America, grounded in shared values, history, and kinship.

After meeting with President of the United States Donald Trump and First Lady Melania at the White House, the King travelled on Tuesday to the Capitol, where he became the second British Monarch to address the American Congress, following in the footsteps of his late mother, Queen Elizabeth II, who became the first to do so in 1991.

The King started by expressing his gratitude to the American people for hosting him and his wife, Queen Camilla, on the special occasion of the “Semiquincentennial” anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.

He also comedically reassured the room that he did not travel to the U.S. as a part of a “cunning rear guard action”.

However, he noted that the address comes amid “great uncertainty”, noting the conflicts continuing to rage in Europe and the Middle East, as well as the recent attempted assassination against President Trump and cabinet officials at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner just days prior.

Apparently addressing the current frayed relations between Washington and London over the response to the Iran conflict from British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer, the King said:

“Whatever our differences, whatever disagreements we may have, we stand united in our commitment to uphold democracy, to protect all our people from harm, and to salute the courage daily risk their lives in the service of our countries.”

Echoing remarks made by President Trump on the shared heritage of the two countries, the King said:

“Standing here today, it is hard not to feel the weight of history on my shoulder, because the modern relationship between our two nations, and our own peoples, spans not merely 250 years, but over four centuries. It is extraordinary to think that I am the 19th in our line of sovereigns to study with daily attention the affairs of America.

“So I come here today with the highest respect for the United States Congress, this citadel of democracy, created to represent the voice of all American people to advance sacred rights and freedoms,” he said.

“Speaking in this renowned chamber of debate and deliberation, I cannot help but think of my late mother Elizabeth, who in 1991 was also afforded this single honour and similarly spoke under the watchful eye of the statue of freedom above us. Today I am here to express the highest regard and friendship of the British people to the people of the United States.”

Acknowledging that differences may arise, the King noted that such disagreements often unite, given that the unique histories of values in both countries rest on hashing out differences through the democratic process.

However, he noted that “time and again, our two countries have always found a way to come together, and by jove, Mr Speaker, when we have found that way to agree, what great changes brought about, not just for the benefit of our peoples, but of all peoples. This, I believe, is the special ingredient in our relationship.”

“As President Trump observed during his state visit to Britain last autumn, ‘the bond of kinship and identity between America is priceless and eternal, it is irreplacable and unbreakable,” he added to a standing ovation from the Congress.

“The alliance that our two nations have built over the centuries, and for which we are profoundly grateful to the American people, is truly unique, and that alliance is what Henry Kissinger described as Kennedy’s ‘soaring vision’ of an Atlantic relationship based on twin pillars, Europe and America. That partnership, I believe, Mr Speaker, is more important today than it has ever been.”

“The challenges we face are too great for any one nation to bear alone. But in this unpredictable environment, our alliance cannot rest on past achievements, or assume that foundational principles simply endure,” the King continued.

“Ours is an indispensable partnership. We must not disregard everything that has sustained us for the last 80 years. Instead, we must build on it.”

President Donald Trump dislikes Iran’s proposal to kick talks about Iran’s nuclear program down the road in order to strike a bargain that will reopen the Strait of Hormuz, according to a new report.

President Trump said he is not satisfied with the proposal, which also requires the U.S. to end its blockade of Iranian ports, according to The New York Times.

The report was based on sources with information from a Monday White House Situation Room meeting.

Iran has refused to budge on American proposals to stop its nuclear program and surrender its existing stores of enriched uranium.

“The United States will not negotiate through the press -- we have been clear about our red lines and the president will only make a deal that’s good for the American people and the world,” Olivia Wales, a White House representative, said in a statement.

The report said the administration is split over what comes next.

Proponents of continuing the blockade say Iran will be forced to talk if the measure continues for two more months, meaning Iran’s energy sector would be heavily weakened.

Opponents say that with the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps essentially running the country, its hardliners will not bend unless military action resumes.

Some within the administration say Iran will never bend on its nuclear program, meaning a deal to reopen the strait might be the best the U.S. can get.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio said in a new interview that negotiating with Iran is a diplomatic can of worms.

Asked about the difficulties, he said, “Well, other than the fact that the country’s run by radical Shia clerics -- that’s a pretty big impediment. The other is that they’re deeply fractured internally, and that -- I think that’s always been the case but I think it’s far more pronounced now.”

Rubio said there is a “tension -- and you always have in that system -- between the Iranians who understand let’s be hardliners but let’s also balance that with the need to run a country and the hardliners who don’t care and have this apocalyptic vision of the future.”

“So as much as anything else, one of the impediments here is that our negotiators aren’t just negotiating with Iranians. Those Iranians then have to negotiate with other Iranians in order to figure out what they can agree to, what they can offer, what they’re willing to do, even who they’re willing to meet with,” he added.

Rubio said that what Iran intends by reopening the Strait of Hormuz is not necessarily simple.

“If what they mean by opening the straits is, ‘Yes, the straits are open as long as you coordinate with Iran, get our permission or we’ll blow you up, and you pay us,’ that’s not opening the straits. Those are international waterways. They cannot normalize nor can we tolerate them trying to normalize a system in which the Iranians decide who gets to use an international waterway and how much you have to pay them to use it,” he said, adding, “So that’s an example of how detail matters here.”

“One thing is to say you’re open to opening the straits, but do you mean opening the straits and going back to the way it should be, the way it’s always been, or are you talking about opening the straits to a system you’re trying to create which would be completely unacceptable -- not just to us, but to the whole world?”

Rubio noted that “the nuclear question is the reason why we’re in this in the first place.”

“If Iran was just a radical country run by radical people but -- it would still be a problem, but they are revolutionary. In essence, they seek to expand and export their revolution, not just what they do in Iran -- that’s why they’re with Hizballah in Lebanon and that’s why they supported Hamas, that’s why they supported the militias in Iraq. They don’t just seek to dominate Iran; they seek to dominate the region. And imagine that with a nuclear weapon,” Rubio remarked.

“There’s no doubt in my mind that at some point in the future if this radical clerical regimes remain in charge in Iran, they will decide they want a nuclear weapon. And what they were trying to do, before the President took action, is to hide behind this conventional shield of drones and missiles and a large navy, hide behind that, an impenetrable conventional shield, so they can do whatever they wanted with their nuclear program. That fundamental issue still has to be confronted. That still remains the core issue here.”

Rubio said Iranian negotiators are “serious about figuring out how can they buy themselves more time.”

“We can’t let them get away with it. They’re very good negotiators. They’re very experienced negotiators, and we have to ensure that any deal that is made, any agreement that is made, is one that definitively prevents them from sprinting towards a nuclear weapon at any point.”

The Department of Justice has indicted a former senior adviser to the late Dr. Anthony Fauci for allegedly destroying and concealing records from investigations into the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic.

David Morens, 78, has been charged with one count of conspiracy against the United States; two counts of destruction, alteration, or falsification of records in federal investigations; and two counts of concealment, removal, or mutilation of records.

The conspiracy also included an alleged “kickback” scheme where Morens took or was promised gifts — including wine bottles and meals at Michelin-starred restaurants — to conduct “official acts favorable” to a federal grantee.

The ex-National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) official faces up to 51 years in federal prison if convicted of all charges.

The indictment, unsealed Monday in Maryland federal court, also notes two unnamed co-conspirators who “concealed, removed, destroyed and caused the concealment, and removal of federal records to evade FOIA [Freedom of Information Act] and FRA [Federal Records Act].”

Information in the indictment indicates the co-conspirators are Dr. Peter Daszak, the president of Manhattan-based non-profit EcoHealth Alliance, and Dr. Gerald Keusch, an associate director of Boston University’s National Emerging Infectious Disease Laboratory Institute and National Institutes of Health (NIH) grantee.

Former House COVID Subcommittee Chairman Brad Wenstrup told The Post Tuesday that “additional indictments may follow.”

“The repercussions of these actions have caused significant damage to the public health system, and recovery may take considerable time due to the involvement of numerous individuals within various agencies,” he said.

“The ongoing pursuit of justice is essential for the well-being of the American people.”

Dr. Richard Ebright, a molecular biologist at Rutgers University, added that “the evidence against the three is compelling.”

“Unless one or more flips and provides evidence against Fauci and others in exchange for immunity, all three should be, and likely will be, convicted,” said Ebright, who noted Keusch approved the first EcoHealth grant awarded to the now-infamous Wuhan Institute of Virology in 2002.

Fauci, who left government service in December 2022, is also referred to as “Senior NIAID Official 1” in multiple communications cited in the indictment — but not named as a co-conspirator.

Morens, who is currently on conditional release, must “avoid all contact” with the co-conspirators, who between April 2020 and June 2023 sought with him to reinstate millions of dollars in federal grants for EcoHealth and burnish its public image, according to the 29-page indictment.

Those included grants totaling $4 million and $7.5 million awarded to the nonprofit in 2014 and 2020, respectively, some of which eventually funded gain-of-function research on bat coronaviruses at WIV.

“There are things I can’t say except Tony is aware and I have learned that there are ongoing efforts within NIH to steer this through with minimal damage to you, Peter, and colleagues, and to NIH and NIAID,” Morens wrote to Daszak and Keusch in an April 26, 2020, email from a private account.

Daszak then provided “illegal gratuities” — two bottles of “The Prisoner Red Napa Valley Wine” — to Morens’ home in Maryland in June 2020, the indictment revealed in previously unreported emails.

“This is the first of what I hope will be a continued series of expressions [sic] of gratitude for your advice, support, and behind-the-scenes shenanigans in my battle against your boss’s boss, his boss, and the ultimate boss on the hill,” Daszak wrote in a message accompanying the June 25 gift.

“Now I am actually going to have to do something to deserve it. Let me think,” Morens responded in a Gmail message the same day, before suggesting he could publish “scientific commentary” that “outlines the importance” of EcoHealth’s work.

On June 26, Daszak wrote back: “Consider this my phase II gift. Phase III might actually involve a meal – the Michelin-starred are opening in Paris, DC, and New York will do eventually!”

The NIAID director and then-NIH head, the late Dr. Francis Collins had, in February 2020 “prompted” the notorious “Proximal Origins” paper that sought to downplay concerns about COVID leaking out of a Chinese lab, instead claiming that the outbreak was consistent with a natural origin for SARS-CoV-2.

But the scientific commentary to which Morens was referring appears to be a July 2002 paper published in The American Journal of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene that also advocates for a natural spillover theory of the virus and “significantly increased funding for basic and applied research addressing disease emergence.”

Emails published by Wenstrup’s subcommittee — and cited in the indictment — showed Morens asking Daszak directly “do I get a kickback?” about the $7.5 million grant he secured for EcoHealth.

Daszak responded in the August 2020 email exchange, “of course there’s a kick-back,” before musing: “I hope it doesn’t culminate in 5 years in Federal jail.”

Morens frequently conducted government business from his Gmail account — and a “secret back channel” with his boss — while asking the NIH’s FOIA liaison for tips on how to evade records requests, according to communications first exposed by The Post in May 2024.

“[T]here is no worry about FOIAs. I can either send stuff to Tony on his private Gmail [sic], or hand it to him at work or at his house,” Morens wrote in one April 21, 2021, email.

“He is too smart to let colleagues send him stuff that could cause trouble.”

Two months prior, Morens said in a Feb. 24 email: “[I] learned from our foia [sic] lady here how to make emails disappear after I am FOIA’d [sic] but before the search starts.”

Morens also told Keusch in a May 13, 2021, email that he “connected” a colleague with Fauci on “our ‘secret’ back channel.”

On Sept. 9, 2021, Morens wrote that he would “always communicate on Gmail [sic] because my NIH email is FOIA’d constantly” and “delete anything I don’t want to see in the New York Times.”

Prosecutors say those actions obfuscated the American public’s access to information sought in “hundreds” of FOIA requests, including from US Right To Know, Science magazine, and the conservative Heritage Foundation.

Many sought information about a now-infamous grant to EcoHealth Alliance, overseen by Morens and beginning in 2014, that funneled US taxpayer dollars to bat coronavirus research in Wuhan, China, where the COVID pandemic emerged in late 2019.

EcoHealth ultimately gave more than $1.4 million to WIV to conduct “genetic experiments to combine naturally occurring bat coronaviruses with SARS and MERS viruses, resulting in hybridized (also known as chimeric) coronavirus strains,” according to a June 2023 Government Accountability Office report.

The project — suspended during the pandemic and briefly reinstated in 2023 — included risky gain-of-function experiments on the viruses that made them 10,000 times more infectious, violating the NIH grant’s terms.

NIH principal deputy director Lawrence Tabak finally confirmed the experiments occurred in sworn congressional testimony on May 16, 2024 — after more than four years of denials — but denied they were the cause of the pandemic.

But another EcoHealth proposal that was never funded, known as Project DEFUSE, has been flagged by scientists and lawmakers for containing a “blueprint” for creating the virus that causes COVID-19.

While speaking on a biosecurity panel in October 2024, Ex-CDC Director Dr. Robert Redfield noted that even unfunded projects and proposals can be tested under other research grants that got funding.

Emails in the indictment showed that Tabak internally criticized EcoHealth’s “reporting compliance,” as Morens and Daszak sought to tamp down tough questions about the nonprofit’s failure to submit information on time for the bat coronavirus grant in Wuhan.

EcoHealth and Daszak were later barred from receiving federal funds for five years in January 2025 — before President Trump returned to the White House.

It’s unclear if the nonprofit is still operating, and its website has been taken down.

“These allegations represent a profound abuse of trust at a time when the American people needed it most — during the height of a global pandemic,” Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche said in a statement.

“The legal violations committed by David Morens, along with those attributed to other co-conspirators, are clearly outlined in the committee’s report. The repercussions of these actions have caused significant damage to the public health system, and recovery may take considerable time due to the involvement of numerous individuals within various agencies.”

“As alleged in the indictment, Dr. Morens and his co-conspirators deliberately concealed information and falsified records in an effort to suppress alternative theories regarding the origins of COVID-19. Government officials have a solemn duty to provide honest, well-grounded facts and advice in service of the public interest — not to advance their own personal or ideological agendas.”

“Not only did Morens allegedly engage in the illegal obfuscation of his communications, but he received kickbacks for doing so,” added FBI Director Kash Patel in a statement.

Both the FBI and the Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of Inspector General conducted the investigation leading to the indictment, following a criminal referral from Wenstrup.

Most emails cited in the indictment were first unearthed by his subcommittee investigation — and “provided substantial evidence that prompted the push for criminal charges,” Wenstrup said.

“Furthermore, it is notable that the Inspector General has reportedly uncovered additional information that the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) withheld from the investigative team,” he added.

I’m proud that the Select Subcommittee’s work led to this step toward accountability and transparency,” added Mitch Benzine, former Staff Director for the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic and currently an attorney in Eversheds Sutherland’s congressional investigations practice.

“This is an example of how congressional investigations can spur activity by law enforcement.”

Keusch didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment. Morens’ lawyer, Daszak and EcoHealth couldn’t be reached for comment.

Italy may deny entry to US citizens whose passports are emblazoned with President Donald Trump’s visage, Real Raw News has learned.

On Monday, the State Department unveiled a bold, controversial design for America250 passports, a limited-edition document commemorating the 250th birthday of American independence.

Samples shown by the State feature an image of President Trump’s face surrounded by an American Flag and the Declaration of Independence.

The State has said the patriotic passports will roll out on July 1 and be issued while supplies last.

Current passport holders cannot surrender an existing passport for a Trump-embossed one, per State, and the redesign will only be available to citizens who apply at the Washington Passport Office.

“These should be a big hit with MAGA,” a State source told RRN.

“MAGAs that don’t have a passport now have a reason to apply. President Trump’s getting the recognition he deserves. This is an exciting time to be a United States citizen.”

The design, however, hasn’t charmed everyone, and blowback to the announcement surfaced instantly on social media and from foreign governments with whom President Trump has had adversarial relations.

Critics have accused President Trump of trying to attach his name to the Kennedy Center, ballfields, currency, bridges, tunnels, and highways—to honor himself—with the America250 passport being the latest example of his self-aggrandizement.

One NATO country was so gobsmacked that its prime minister telephoned the State Department to ask if it was a joke.

Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni of Italy allegedly told Assistant Secretary of State Andrew Veprek that her country has a sovereign right to ban foreigners for any reason or no reason.

Her voice raised, she said her country might not honor a passport bearing the face of a warmongering white supremacist.

Until recently, Meloni had been one of President Trump’s most natural allies in Western Europe, as both had won their elections on right-wing populist platforms.

They shared similar political ideologies. But after the United States and Israel bombed Iran, Meloni condemned the strikes, and Italy denied permission for US planes to land at Sigonella air base in Sicily, a stopover before heading to the Middle East.

President Trump responded by calling Meloni “weak” and saying that the US would conquer Iran and reopen the Strait of Hormuz without Italy’s help.

Not long afterward, they again traded blows, this time over President Trump’s criticism of Pope Leo XIV.

Like Meloni, Pope Leo has vociferously spurned the war and said, without mentioning President Trump’s name, that he despises tyrants who spend billions and trillions of dollars on war.

He indirectly accused President Trump of “manipulating” the very name of God for personal gain and called the Pentagon a “handful of tyrants.”

On social media, President Trump offered a blistering reply, calling the Pope “WEAK on Crime and terrible for Foreign Policy.”

Apparently, Meloni interpreted President Trump’s remarks to the Pontiff as a personal attack against herself.

Whether President Trump and Meloni can mend their fractured relations seems unlikely given her stance on America250 passports.

Our State Department source said, “Prime Minister Meloni is ruining a good thing.

She was to Western Europe what Victor Orban was to Eastern Europe—a MAGA ally. Now she’s diving off the deep end and going bonkers.”

Meloni, he added, told Veprek that only undesirable, red hat-wearing MAGA men would dare carry a passport with President Trump’s face.

“She said Italy doesn’t need that kind of tourists,” our source said, “and Italy would be within its rights to turn them around at the airport.”

In closing, our source said that Veprek let Meloni know he would relay her concerns up the chain of command.

Iran is rapidly running out of space to store its oil as President Trump continues his naval blockade in the Strait of Hormuz — which could lead to “irreversible” damage to the regime’s biggest industry and lifeblood of its economy.

Iran scrambling to get massive crude carrier to Kharg Island, in a sign that President Trump’s blockade is bringing the regime’s oil-critical hub, which controls roughly 90% of Iranian crude oil to the brink.

Massive supertankers have been spotted at Kharg Island, an oil-critical hub which controls roughly 90% of Iranian crude oil exports, Bloomberg reported, citing satellite imagery.

But with nowhere for the crude carriers to go with the US blockade around the Gulf of Oman, experts say it is a sign that the regime is using the vessels as floating storage.

Iran has repeatedly tried to push its ships through the US naval blockade, but its ships are routinely intercepted, with six tankers forced to turn back in recent days, ship-tracking data shows.

President Trump warned Sunday that the Islamic Republic had until Wednesday before Tehran reaches maximum capacity, putting billions of dollars at risk.

Iran has been producing about 2 million barrels of oil a day during the war.

“If the Iranians have to shut down oil and gas production due to a lack of storage capacity, there will be permanent damage to the productivity of the oil fields,” said Derek Reisfield, Co-Founder of Marketwatch and a former McKinsey consultant.

“The damage will be irreversible,” he added.

“The loss in capacity could easily be half a million barrels in daily production.”

The Critical Threats Project at the American Enterprise Institute think-tank also estimated to The Post that Tehran likely has until April 29 before its onshore storage facilities are filled.

The AEI’s estimates were matched by Energy Aspects, a UK-based fuel analyst firm, with FGE NextantECA, an energy and chemicals advisory company, claiming that Iran had about 122 million barrels of storage space, giving Tehran less than seven weeks before it has to shut down production.

But shutting down the oil fields also carries a handful of risks for the Islamic Republic.

Sudden and prolonged halts at oil production plants risk lasting damage to fuel reservoirs and make it increasingly difficult to restart operations and return to the same level of output as before.

“When you shut down production across an entire oil field, you will get water intrusion, chemical instability, which can cause things like clay swelling,” Reisfield explained.

“To regenerate production, you will have to spend money.”

An Iranian parliamentarian, Ahmad Bashesh Ast Ardastani, warned on Friday that the cost of restarting production should the oil fields shut down would be an enormous burden on Tehran’s already struggling economy.

“We must do something about this maritime siege, because if we are forced to shut down our oil wells, we will need billions of dollars to restart them,” he said, according to an Iran International translation.

“Shutting down our oil wells is not as simple as turning off a water tap,” he added.

Homayoun Falakshahi, the head of Kpler’s crude oil analysis team, said Iran has long suffered from underinvestment and reservoir management challenges, leaving the regime with an average recovery rate of 25% when production plants are shut.

While Iran has historically dealt with export disruptions by rotating which plants get their production curbed, the National Iranian Oil Company is “already under pressure as a growing share of oil revenues is diverted toward Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps-linked channels, reducing funds available for upstream maintenance and recovery,” Falakshahi wrote in an analysis.

By the time the Secret Service subdued Cole Tomas Allen, the would-be pistol-and-shotgun-wielding assassin who tried to breach the Washington Hilton ballroom where the White House Correspondents’ Dinner was underway, the hashtags #Fake and #Staged already were propagating across social media.

Allen, 31, a teacher from California, had checked into the Hilton on April 24, meaning he was inside the hotel before security perimeters were established and manometers installed in the ballroom lobby.

Allen had traveled from California to D.C. on business, and that business was to eliminate as many Trump officials as possible with a shotgun, a pistol, and an eclectic assortment of knives.

His rampage ended when Secret Service tackled him, but not before he managed to shoot an agent; fortunately, the agent’s bulletproof vest saved his life.

The pandemonium was still in full swing when “STAGED” became the top trending topic on X, Bluesky, and other social media platforms.

Within minutes, liberal and ex-MAGA influencers, as well as Democratic lawmakers, seemed to have the facts at their fingertips.

President Trump, they said, had contrived a “False Flag” to justify construction of the White House Ballroom and to boost his abysmal ratings ahead of the November midterms.

What’s more, these internet sleuths hastily unveiled their “irrefutable” evidence, accruing millions of profitable impressions and clicks.

We’ll present each claim and provide our sources’ rebuttal.

I: Karoline Leavitt’s Comments

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, speaking to Fox News, made an eerily prescient comment ahead of the event.

She said, “There will be some shots fired tonight in the room,” while posing with her baby bump on the red carpet.

There is an ancient and somewhat inaccurate adage that goes something like this: “The Deep State always announces what it’ll do in advance.”

President Trump’s detractors seized the moment, claiming that Leavitt was tacitly acknowledging that President Trump had foreknowledge of Allen’s arrival and was, in fact, the Deep State’s neoteric top dog.

White House political advisor Dan Scavino rebuked that assertion.

“What Karoline, an amazing woman, meant was—was President Trump would be taking pot shots at the lamestream media. Of course, the Fake News blew it up to mean something else. President Trump—God Bless the USA—is the best president we’ve had. His enemies are many, and they’re always foaming at the mouth to capitalize on any comment they can misjudge for their advantage,” he told RRN.

II: President Trump’s Appearance at the Event

Until last night, President Trump had shunned the gaudy gala, a celebration rife with pomposity and purveyors of disinformation.

That President Trump planned to appear at all raised suspicious eyebrows.

After all, POTUS had a litany of legitimate grievances against fake news journalists who had for ten years spun specious lies, diminishing President Trump’s innumerable achievements and assassinating his character.

A White House source told RRN that President Trump spent days deliberating whether to attend and resolved to go because the opportunity to verbally eviscerate his throng of accusers was too enticing to pass up.

Neither the White House Briefing Room nor Air Force One’s press cabin afforded him the chance to address so many simultaneously. He would own them, own the lamestream, liberal media, and expose their biases and hatred of the Republic.

“President Trump was really looking forward to speaking that evening. The insane notion that he staged an assassination attempt is, well, an insane liberal fantasy. The same demented people who say President Trump faked Butler are spinning this shit. President Trump is the most successful president in American history, and that’s why haters want him dead,” our source said.

III. But it’s not only liberals talking “STAGED.”

A Secret Service source told RRN that President Trump’s allies-turned-enemies began fanning the flames of flagrantly false “staged” fables.

He said the Secret Service believes that ex-MAGA luminaries Marjorie Taylor Greene, Tucker Carlson, Alex Jones, Nick Fuentes, and Candace Owens have been using sock puppet social media accounts to amplify lies aimed at harming President Trump’s reputation.

“A lot of these traitors that President Trump is ending a war that Iran started in 1979. He’s always said Iran can’t have nukes; he’s protecting America. The president’s enemies want you to believe that 350 Secret Service personnel, 56 TSA agents, 100 Capitol Police officers, 84 National Guardsmen, and his entire Cabinet are all caught up in some grand conspiracy. That we recruited and mind-controlled Cole Tomas Alan. It’s laughable, if you look at his history,” the Secret Service source said.

IV: Cole Thomas Allen

A substitute teacher at a liberal California school, Allen was a devoted anti-Trumper.

In his manifesto, he named himself a “friendly federal assassin” and wrote he had planned to, in pecking order, annihilate the administration’s hierarchy.

He accused President Trump of being a pedophile and said he would “fix” what’s wrong in America.

His now-deleted social media accounts were loaded with anti-government screeds.

He had attended “No Kings Day” protests and was a prominent member of a counter-militia group dedicated to destroying President Trump.

In 2023, he coded an indie video game called “Get Trump” in which players used sniper rifles to shoot President Trump as he exited the White House.

“There’s no conspiracy,” Secret Service spokesperson Anthony Guglielmi told RRN.

“The suspect rented a room and advantageously used that to try to storm past our magnetometer. Internet trolls who don’t know a thing about security criticize us, but the fact is, we took him down, a testament to our professionalism. He hates America and President Trump, and now he’ll pay the price.”

In closing, RRN realizes the “staged” controversy is a hotly debated topic. We have no proof one way or the other, and are simply sharing sources and insights.

Some medications provide unexpected health benefits beyond their intended usage.

Aspirin, for example, was developed for pain relief and reducing fevers, but small daily doses can also reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease.

Then there’s metformin, a type-2 diabetes drug that’s been shown to reduce age-related diseases like cancer.

Now, researchers have discovered a new potential “wonder drug,” one which may increase lifespans: rilmenidine.

Rilmenidine, also known by its brand name Hyperium, is a medication prescribed in many parts of the world to help people manage their blood pressure.

At least, that’s what the drug was designed to do.

A 2023 study published in Aging Cell demonstrates how rilmenidine can slow down aging in non-human animals.

Worms that were given the drug lived longer compared to the control group, and they even scored higher on several health tests for longevity.

Mice, too, had a promising response. Those given rilmenidine showed healthier gene activity in their tissues.

The study comes from an emerging body of science that explores how caloric restriction, or intermittent fasting, can slow aging and increase lifespans.

Gerontologists, the scientists who study aging, look for cellular markers that indicate the rate of an individual’s “biological clock.”

Such cellular markers give scientists an idea of the rate at which an individual is aging.

Curiously, taking rilmenidine results in the same markers as caloric restriction, meaning rilmenidine mimics the anti-aging effects of intermittent fasting.

Now, scientists have proven that rilmenidine, like caloric restriction, can increase life spans — at least in worms and mice.

We know caloric restriction can increase lifespans, and we know rilmenidine mimics the effects of caloric restriction in humans.

The next question is whether or not rilmenidine can increase the lifespan of humans.

And now, thanks to the 2023 study from a team of European biogerontologists, we now know that rilmenidine increases the lifespans of worms.

But worms are not humans.

The worms used in the study were C. elegans, a species that has been described as a “star” test subject among biologists.

Scientists often use C. elegans to investigate the effects of drugs on animal DNA before they move on to human trials, since it reproduces quickly and its genome has many parallels with our own.

It’s therefore the ideal first step in the drug trial pipeline.

Generally speaking, drug trials often start with C. elegans before moving on to rodents. Only after extensive research and multiple animal trials are drugs tested on human subjects.

Still, the results are promising.

While we might be a long way off before doctors start prescribing rilmenidine to extend people’s lifespans, the value of such a “miracle drug” makes it worth investigating.

Caloric restriction, or intermittent fasting, is difficult to follow normally without suffering from side effects like vitamin deficiencies and lightheadedness.

Furthermore, many people already use rilmenidine to control their blood pressure, though it hasn’t been approved for use in the United States.

Those that do take rilmenidine may already be benefitting from the medication’s lifespan-extending effects, but further tests are needed to determine whether it’s a safe alternative to intermittent fasting.

If it is, rilmenidine might be the key to a long life in the future.

RILMENIDINE, a medication commonly prescribed for high blood pressure (hypertension), has shown potential to extend lifespan and slow aging in animal studies—primarily in worms, with supporting cellular evidence in mice.

Researchers found that RILMENIDINE mimics the beneficial effects of caloric restriction (a well-known longevity intervention in lab models) at the cellular level, without the practical difficulties or side effects of extreme dieting.

RILMENIDINE has been used safely for decades in many countries (though not approved in the U.S.) to treat hypertension.

Its side effects are typically rare and mild (e.g., occasional palpitations, insomnia, or drowsiness), which makes it more translatable to potential human use than experimental drugs with harsher profiles.

IRAN has offered President Donald Trump a deal to re-open the Strait of Hormuz and end the war – but also put negotiations for their nuclear ambitions on the back burner, reports say.

It comes as the regime continues its chokehold on the key waterway – with Washington and Tehran failing to reach a breakthrough during peace talks.

Iran‘s proposed deal would bring an end to the bitter conflict and reopen the key trade route – while giving the regime a buffer to talks about its highly-enriched uranium, Axios reports.

Tehran claims this plan would bypass a key sticking point and allow the two sides to reach peace more quickly.

But putting an end to the conflict and lifting the blockade would remove President Trump’s leverage over Iran.

It could give the US president fewer cards to play with in any talks over removing Iran’s enriched uranium stockpiles.

President Trump is expected to hold a Situation Room meeting on Iran on Monday alongside his top national security and foreign policy team, US officials say.

The US president is likely to discuss the negotiations stalemate and what Washington may do next to open the Strait of Hormuz.

On Sunday, he vowed to maintain his own blockade on Iranian ports – in hopes it will force Tehran to give up its chokehold over the next few weeks.

President Trump told Fox News:

“When you have vast amounts of oil pouring through your system … if for any reason this line is closed because you can’t put it into containers or ships … what happens is that line explodes from within.

“They say they only have about three days before that happens.”

Crunch talks between Washington and Tehran took place in Pakistan earlier this month – but a second round in Islamabad was cancelled at the last minute.

“I see no point of sending them on an 18-hour flight in the current situation,” he told Axios.

“It’s too long. We can do it just as well by telephone. The Iranians can call us if they want. We are not gonna travel just to sit there.”

He added: “They gave us a paper that should have been better. And interestingly, immediately when I cancelled it, within 10 minutes we got a new paper that was much better.”

Iranian foreign minister Abbas Araghchi, who was set to meet Witkoff and Kushner, is now expected to meet Vladimir Putin in Moscow on Monday instead.

Araghchi has been plotting how to remove the nuclear issue from negotiations with the US, according to two sources with knowledge.

He reportedly told the Pakistani, Egyptian, Turkish and Qatari mediators over the weekend that Iran’s top brass are not aligned on how to deal with President Trump’s demands.

Washington wants the reeling regime to suspend uranium enrichment for at least a decade and remove its current stock from the country.

The U.S. Navy is deploying unmanned robotic systems and drones to clear the Hormuz Strait of deadly mines laid by Iran to restore safe passage across the vital passageway through which 20% of the world’s oil and gas passes.

According to a Wall Street Journal report, the Navy is scanning the seabed of Hormuz with the help of a drone developed by RTX Corporation, which tows a floating sonar system called the AQS-20.

This system also patrols the areas up to 100 feet wide at once.

It is also operating battery-powered underwater drones, the Mk18 Mod 2, Kingfish, and Knifefish, that can be launched from small boats to scan the mine-laying patterns.

The Navy also launched many manned and unmanned programs to remove the mines blocking the strait in the past few days.

This tactic has allowed the U.S Navy to protect vessels in the region and also remove the dangerous mines in days, as traditional methods would take weeks or months.

Iran has clearly stated that it will not allow normal maritime traffic to resume in the Hormuz Strait unless the U.S. lifts its naval blockade of Iranian ports.

Iran had opened the strait on Friday following a ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah, raising hopes of an agreement.

After this, global oil prices reduced for a while; however, the blockade was reimposed.

Now that the U.S. has fired upon and seized an Iranian cargo ship called TOUSKA in the Hormuz after it breached its blockade, an agreement is most unlikely.

Iran has vowed to retaliate strongly against this action, which it labelled armed piracy.

It also said that there won’t be further talks with Washington.

With the ceasefire expiring on Wednesday, the two countries are still in disagreement and prices of crude have jumped over 7%, with nations all over the world facing shortages as ships remain stranded in the Middle East.

If a technology existed that could break our dependence on fuel and control… would you ever be allowed to see it?

There’s a line in science you’re not allowed to cross. Most people never see it.

Most researchers never get near it. But every so often, someone does.

And when they do… the system springs into action and they are taken out.

You’ve heard the name Nikola Tesla. A man who didn’t just invent—he challenged the entire structure of how energy could exist in the world. Wireless transmission. Ambient power.

A system where energy isn’t controlled, rationed, or sold.

Then he dies under mysterious circumstances. And his work? Seized and locked away.

That’s where the story is supposed to end. But it doesn’t. Because every few decades… someone else shows up working on something just close enough to that same line.

And in our generation, that someone was Amy Eskridge.

Amy Eskridge wasn’t a celebrity scientist. Because she was operating in a space few people can understand, and most people never even hear about—gravity modification, advanced propulsion, the outer edges of physics.

Eskridge spoke openly about pressure from the outside. About being targeted. About interference that most people will never experience, let alone talk about publicly.

Her father, a NASA scientist, told her she was paranoid.

She wasn’t paranoid. We have it on tape. Two men threatening her in public. Attending her conference, telling her she could be “disappeared.”

The man threatening Eskridge mentioned Dr. Ning Li, a prominent DoD physicist, known for her research into superconductivity and anti-gravity.

She was involved in a severe 2014 car accident that gave her brain damage and ended her career.

No wonder Eskridge stated clearly, unequivocally, that she was not planning on taking her life. Under no circumstances would she ever take her own life. That if she was found dead…. they killed her.

And in 2022, she was gone.

Officially, the story ends there. But in reality, that’s exactly where it begins.

Some discoveries don’t fail—they disappear. Not because they don’t work… but because they do. And if they saw light of day, the whole world would change.

And that’s a risk the elite are killing people to avoid.

Once you look at the full timeline of Amy Eskridge’s death, the official narrative doesn’t just crumble — it becomes laughably impossible to believe.

A scientist working on unconventional physics and exotic technology.
A stated intention to bring it into the open.
A last-minute shutdown by NASA.
A promised publication that never arrives as expected.
And a life that is snuffed out before any of it is fully explained.

And when you place it next to earlier cases—including figures like Tesla—the question becomes impossible to ignore: How many times does this exact sequence have to repeat… before the public stop accepting the official narrative?

PRESIDENT DONALD Trump and Melania were rushed out of the White House Correspondents’ dinner after a gunman opened fire.

The US President was evacuated from the event by Secret Service agents as other terrified guests scrambled to hide under tables for cover at the Washington Hilton.

President Donald Trump posted a photo of the alleged shooter on Saturday night, identified as Cole Tomas Allen, 31, of California.

Allen is accused of opening fire at the Washington Hilton on Saturday night while the president and his cabinet were in attendance.

The suspect was caught on surveillance footage sprinting past a security checkpoint and headed straight for the ballroom where thousands of journalists were gathered for the annual event.

Agents leapt into action as the suspect streaked past. A Secret Service Agent was shot during the incident but is expected to survive.

Dramatic footage shows President Trump and the first lady bending down behind the dais before being hustled out by Secret Service officers.

Police swarmed the hotel where the black-tie event was taking place, and helicopters hovered overhead.

Panicked dinner guests were screaming ‘Get down, get down!’ and dove under the tables as Secret Service officers in combat gear ran into the dining room.

The shooter was later identified as Cole Tomas Allen, 31, of Torrance, California, two law enforcement officials said.

FBI officials later said he opened fire at a Secret Service agent.

Speaking at a press briefing at the White House shortly after the shooting, President Trump said the suspect was armed with multiple weapons and wearing a bulletproof vest before calling him a ‘would-be assassin’.

He branded the suspect a ‘sick person’ who charged a security checkpoint and injured a law enforcement officer.

President Trump said the agent was shot from a very close distance with a very powerful gun but the vest did the job.

He said the agent is in ‘great shape’ while officials confirmed he is being treated at hospital for his injuries.

President Trump also thanked the Secret Service, adding that the venue was ‘not a particularly secure building.’

FBI Director Kash Patel urged the public to share “any information whatsoever related to this event.”

Chaos erupted in the ballroom around 8.35pm, before the US President’s speech, when an armed man stormed the hotel lobby.

Some in the crowd reported hearing what they believed to be five to eight shots fired.

Shortly after the incident, President Trump- who was uninjured- said the shooter was apprehended and said he did not want the dinner cancelled.

He posted on Truth Social: “Quite an evening in D.C. Secret Service and Law Enforcement did a fantastic job. They acted quickly and bravely.

“The shooter has been apprehended, and I have recommended that we “LET THE SHOW GO ON” but, will entirely be guided by Law Enforcement.”

“They will make a decision shortly. Regardless of that decision, the evening will be much different than planned, and we’ll just, plain, have to do it again. President DONALD J. TRUMP.”

But he later announced the event would be rescheduled within 30 days.

He wrote on Truth Social: “Law Enforcement has requested that we leave the premises, consistent with protocol, which we will do, immediately.

“I will be giving a press conference in 30 minutes from the White House Press Briefing Room.

“The First Lady, plus the Vice President, and all Cabinet members, are in perfect condition. We will be speaking to you in a half an hour.

“I have spoken with all the representatives in charge of the event, and we will be rescheduling within 30 days. President DONALD J. TRUMP.”

President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump were attending the event along with Vice President JD Vance, Cabinet members, lawmakers, journalists, and other officials.

Around 8:35–8:36 p.m. ET, a 31-year-old man identified as Cole Tomas Allen (from Torrance, California, reportedly a teacher and former video game developer) approached the security checkpoint/magnetometer area in the hotel lobby.

He was armed with a shotgun, a handgun, and multiple knives. He charged the checkpoint, leading to an exchange of gunfire with Secret Service agents.

One Secret Service officer was struck by gunfire but was saved by his bulletproof vest and is reported to be in good condition.

The suspect was quickly subdued, not struck by gunfire himself, and taken into custody. He is described as a lone actor with no apparent accomplices.

Secret Service official tells us Allan identified himself as “legion,” one of thousands of a ‘righteous” brotherhood sworn to take down President Trump and everyone in his Cabinet.

Per a secret service source, Cole Allen, upon being subdued, said, “You may think you have me, but I will kill again,” suggesting he has killed before.

This is the latest in a series of security incidents involving President Trump, but officials emphasize that the swift action prevented any harm to attendees.

US Navy Judge Advocate General’s Corps agents on Thursday arrested former Obama housekeeper Sylvia Rodriguez, an illegal alien, as she slept in a motel bed close to Annapolis, Maryland, Real Raw News has learned.

Rodriguez, 53, had illegally entered the United States via Mexico on June 12, 2017, and never applied for asylum or temporary citizenship.

On August 2, 2017, she was arrested for public intoxication outside a Baltimore restaurant, half a mile from where she had lived with a friend.

The only paperwork she carried was a Mexican identification card. She was booked into the Baltimore County Detention Center, only to be RORd the next morning by a Leftist judge.

Since she was illegal, though, her information was entered into an ICE database, and she received a summons to appear in immigration court on November 5 of that year.

She failed to appear, but, for whatever reason, no warrant was issued even though the court knew she was an illegal and was earning “off the books” income as a housekeeper.

How she came to know the Obamas is unclear.

But what is transpicuous, a JAG source told RRN, is that Rodriguez served as a maid at the Obamas’ Kalorama mansion in Washington, D.C., between February 2018 and September 2023.

“Honestly, we had no idea who this woman was until two weeks ago,” a JAG source said.

On April 9, JAG heard through the grapevine that the Board of Immigration had issued a final order of deportation for Rodriguez after learning that she was living at an extended stay hotel.

JAG, our source said, reached out to acting ICE Director Todd Lyons (who has since announced he will retire) and asked him to defer to the military, as JAG suspected that Rodriguez’s prior proximity to the Obamas might mean she had inside information about the myriad crimes Barack had committed while in and out of office.

Lyons, however, told JAG to stand down, saying immigration enforcement was his responsibility, not theirs.

“We don’t have a good working relationship with ICE,” our source said.

“They think they’re better than us…though about 65% of their staff is morbidly obese. President Donald J. Trump gave us unilateral authority to capture Deep Staters and their associates. This was our ballfield. If ICE got her, she might’ve been straight off deported to Mexico, Honduras, Ecuador, Guatemala, or El Salvador—and if she had info that could help us find the real Barack Hussein, it’d be lost forever. ICE was planning to grab her on April 24, so we acted preemptively.”

On Thursday night, six JAG agents descended on the Red Roof Inn Motel in Annapolis and, after hammering fists on the room door, commanded her to step outside with her hands raised in the air.

When no one replied, they used a battering ram to breach the door. A sound sleeper, Rodriguez was still lying in bed as JAG agents entered the room and found $237,000 in a black duffel bag under the bed.

Agents, our said, injected a sedative into her neck and hauled a sedated Rodriguez to one of three idling SUVs in the parking lot.

“She’s ours,” our source said, “but if our interrogation is futile, we’ll happily give her back to ICE. We’re hoping we can charge her as a conspirator or at least an accessory after the fact.”

Iran is scrambling to get a massive crude carrier to Kharg Island, in a sign that President Trump’s blockade is bringing the regime’s oil-critical hub — which controls roughly 90% of Iranian crude oil exports — to the brink, according to a report.

Tehran has been forced to take a 30-year-old oil tanker, Nasha, out of retirement as Kharg Island nears its maximum onshore capacity, Gulf News reported Friday.

The vessel, which has been anchored empty for the past several years, is being revived as floating storage for Iran’s teeming crude supply, the outlet reported.

The tired oil tanker is currently en route to the Islamic Republic’s primary crude oil export terminal, according to data from TankerTrackers.com.

The frantic move comes as Kharg Island’s remaining spare storage could fill up in just 12 to 13 days, with Iran’s net oil inflow running around 1 million barrels per day, analysts told Gulf News.

Congestion at the regime’s most critical oil stronghold could spiral into a major national economic problem for the regime, the outlet noted.

Secretary of War Pete Hegseth said Friday that Iran still has an “open window” for negotiations with the US — but warned that “the clock is not on their side” with the naval blockade targeting all ships coming from or traveling to Iranian ports.

In the wee hours one night this week, US forces seized a sanctioned Iranian-flagged oil tanker bound for Singapore as it tried to sneak past American ships in the darkness.

Three container ships were hit by Iranian gunfire in the critical chokehold on Wednesday – just hours after President Trump announced he was indefinitely extending a cease-fire agreement with the Islamic Republic.

Iran said it captured two of the ships that were seeking to exit the Gulf via the Strait of Hormuz, marking its first seizures since the war began.

Senior Iranian leadership was expected to arrive in Pakistan on Friday or Saturday for talks, government sources from both countries told The Post.

However, the meeting will most likely be bilateral between Islamabad and Tehran only, an Iranian source said.

President Trump threatened to finish the war “militarily with the other 25% of the targets” if Iranian leaders “don’t want to make a deal,” he warned Thursday.

Maritime analysts at Tanker Trackers estimate about 13 million barrels of spare capacity remain, while net oil inflows are running at 1.0–1.1 million barrels per day. At that pace, the tanks could be completely full in roughly 12–13 days (late April 2026).

A U.S. naval blockade in the Strait of Hormuz, enforced since around April 13, 2026, has severely restricted Iranian oil exports.

The blockade targets ships linked to Iranian ports, and recent U.S. actions include seizing tankers and deploying additional carrier strike groups.

Even though Iran has continued loading crude onto tankers at Kharg, getting that oil out to market has become extremely difficult.

Once storage is maxed out, Iran would likely have to shut in wells (especially water-injection fields), which risks permanent damage to reservoirs and long-term production losses.

Right now, it’s a clear sign of mounting economic strain caused by the blockade.

The leftists at ActBlue got some ’splainin’ to do. Of course, that’s hard to do when you’re taking the Fifth.

The Democrats’ favorite — and allegedly crooked — fundraising platform is under greater scrutiny in the latest joint interim staff report from the House’s Administration, Judiciary, and Oversight and Government Committees.

The report, “Fraud on ActBlue, Part II: Illicit Foreign Donations and a Cover-Up Spur Mass Resignations and Firings on ActBlue’s Legal and Compliance Team,” sheds more light on the criminally suspect practices of the left-wing fundraising titan.

It’s really illegal to accept political contributions from foreign entities and individuals.

Released Monday, the report arrived on the same day Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton filed a lawsuit against ActBlue for “misleading consumers about its unlawful donation processes that allow fraudulent and foreign donations to undermine the integrity of our nation’s elections.”

‘Knowing and Willful Acceptance’

Among its key findings, the report reveals that five former and current ActBlue employees appearing for depositions “invoked their Fifth Amendment right against self incrimination during questioning — for a total of 146 times.”

It also details the “mass exodus” of the platform’s legal and compliance team in the wake of the 2024 election.

Within four months following the sweeping Republican victory, the Democrat fundraising machine’s legal and compliance team was gone — having resigned, been fired, or stepped out on “extended leave,” according to the report.

Why? Because of ActBlue’s “’knowing and willful’ acceptance of illegal foreign contributions, and the subsequent cover-up,” the report charges.

Earlier this month The New York Times reported that the donation collector’s lawyers had warned that “ActBlue may have misled Congress” about how it handled foreign contributions.

“According to subsequent media reports, this mass exodus was a direct consequence of ActBlue’s failure to deter illegal foreign political donations — which the Committees first uncovered in April 2025 — and CEO Regina Wallace-Jones’s previous misstatements to Congress,” the report states.

Beyond “misstatements,” ActBlue employees deposed by the committees declined to answer questions about the platform’s activities and security processes.

During the five depositions of key ActBlue fraud-prevention and legal personnel, “the employees invoked their Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination in response to every single one of the Committees’ substantive questions,” the report notes.

As The Federalist has reported, the House committees last summer issued a subpoena to ActBlue CEO Regina Wallace-Jones.

The subpoena gives Regina Wallace-Jones until Aug. 12 to turn over the documents the committees have requested.

It did the same for others in the organization.

At the time the committee chairs said ActBlue had “suspended its cooperation.”

“The Committees have found significant evidence that ActBlue had ‘a fundamentally unserious approach to fraud prevention’ during this period,” the chairs wrote in letters informing the ActBlue employees of the subpoena.

‘Allowed Bad Actors’

Records obtained through previous subpoenas confirmed suspicions that ActBlue had accepted unverified payments during record-smashing fundraising totals for the Democratic Party’s presidential replacement candidate, then-Vice President Kamala Harris.

The congressional investigation has found donations poured through the platform from Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Colombia, and other countries, as The Federalist reported previously.

ActBlue has consistently denied wrongdoing and insists it has “always been forthcoming with Congress.”

House GOP leaders accuse ActBlue of sneaky tactics to obstruct campaign finance fraud probe

House investigators have a different point of view.

The bottom line, the committees’ report alleges, is that ActBlue “allowed bad actors, including foreign actors, to exploit its online platform to make fraudulent political donations.”

The full staff report comes after a follow-up letter by the committee chairmen sent to Wallace-Jones last week demanding that ActBlue fully comply with past subpoenas.

‘Foreign Donations and Dark Money’

In a recent column published on the Federalist Society’s site, New York election law attorney Joseph Thomas Burns wrote that it appears “ActBlue’s legal troubles may have just begun.”

Burns noted a previous congressional report that highlighted ActBlue’s efforts to weaken its anti-fraud safeguards in 2024.

“What’s more disturbing is that according to the congressional report, ActBlue attempted to hide the fact that anti-fraud measures were relaxed,” the attorney asserted.

“The report shows that ActBlue, one of the nation’s major players in online political fundraising, is simply not taking the necessary steps to stop fraudulent and illegal political contributions from being made over its platform.”

Burns is absolutely right about one thing: ActBlue’s legal troubles have just begun.

On Monday, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton sued the platform that has processed north of $16 billion in donations — more than the GDP of some nations — over the past 22 years.

Paxton opened a probe into the organization in 2023, eventually sending the Federal Election Commission a Petition for Rulemaking “detailing how suspicious actors had appeared to be continuing to use ActBlue’s political fundraising platform to make a large number of straw political donations.”

“The radical left has relied on ActBlue as a way to funnel foreign donations and dark money into their political campaigns to subvert our laws and compromise the integrity of our elections,” Paxton said in a press release.

“ActBlue lied to Congress and to the American people, and I will ensure justice is served.”

UCLA researchers have identified a rogue population of immune cells that quietly accumulates in aging tissues and in the livers of people with fatty liver disease.

“Senescent cells are fairly rare, but think of them like a broken-down car on the 405,” said Anthony Covarrubias, senior author of the study and a member of the Eli and Edythe Broad Center of Regenerative Medicine and Stem Cell Research at UCLA.

“Just one stalled car can back up traffic for miles. Now imagine five or ten of them slowly accumulating. That’s what these cells do to a tissue: even a small number causes enormous disruption.”

For years, scientists debated whether macrophages—the large immune cells that patrol every tissue in the body, engulfing debris, pathogens and dying cells—could truly become senescent. The prevailing view was that they could not.

Part of the confusion stemmed from biology: macrophages naturally display some molecular markers of senescence even when healthy, making it hard to tell a genuinely dysfunctional cell from one simply doing its job.

The UCLA team resolved this by identifying a molecular signature—two proteins, p21 and TREM2, whose combination reliably flags macrophages that are genuinely senescent: no longer functional, but persistently inflaming their surrounding tissue.

Using this signature, the researchers found that the proportion of senescent macrophages in the liver surges from roughly 5% in young mice to nearly 60–80% in old ones, closely tracking with the rise of chronic liver inflammation during normal aging.

But aging, it turns out, isn’t the only trigger. Excess cholesterol, the researchers found, can also push macrophages into a senescent state.

When the team exposed healthy macrophages to high levels of LDL cholesterol in the laboratory, the cells developed the hallmarks of senescence: they stopped dividing, began secreting inflammatory proteins and showed the distinctive p21-TREM2 signature.

“Physiologically, macrophages can handle cholesterol metabolism,” said Ivan Salladay-Perez, first author of the new study and a graduate student in the Covarrubias lab.

“But in a chronic state, it’s pathological. And when you look at fatty liver disease, which is driven by overnutrition and too much cholesterol in the blood, that excess cholesterol appears to be a major driver of the senescent macrophage population.”

This finding raises a broader question the team is now pursuing: whether high-cholesterol and high-fat diets accelerate biological aging by driving macrophage senescence across multiple tissues—not just the liver, but potentially the brain, heart and fat.

Targeting senescent cells to reverse liver damage

To test whether clearing senescent macrophages could help, the researchers treated mice with ABT-263, a drug that selectively triggers cell death in senescent cells.

The results were striking.

In transgenic mice fed a high-fat, high-cholesterol diet—a model for human metabolic liver disease—the drug reduced liver weight from roughly 7% of total body weight back to a healthy 4–5%.

Overall body weight also dropped 25% from an average of 40 grams back toward normal levels of around 30 grams. Treated livers were visibly smaller and a healthier shade of red compared to the enlarged, yellowy-fatty livers of untreated animals.

The findings suggest that clearing senescent macrophages from the liver is enough to produce significant metabolic benefits even without dietary intervention.

“That’s what wowed me,” said Salladay-Perez.

“Eliminating senescent cells doesn’t just slow the fatty liver—it actually reverses it.”

To determine whether the findings could be relevant to human disease, the team turned to existing patient data.

Analyzing a publicly available genomic dataset from liver biopsies, they found the same senescent macrophage signature markedly elevated in diseased livers compared to healthy ones, suggesting that macrophage senescence plays a role in human chronic liver disease, not just in mice.

The finding carries particular urgency in Los Angeles, where an estimated 30–40% of residents are affected by fatty liver disease, with even higher rates in Latino communities.

There are currently very few treatment options and limited non-invasive tools for diagnosing the condition at early stages.

“This is a huge public health crisis in the making,” said Covarrubias, who is also an assistant professor of microbiology, immunology and molecular genetics.

“We’re seeing fatty liver disease in younger and younger people. So we’re really happy to make some inroads into understanding what’s driving it and identifying cell types we might be able to target.”

While ABT-263 is effective in mice, it’s too toxic for broad use in humans.

As a next step, the research team will conduct drug-screening studies to identify new compounds that can selectively eliminate senescent macrophages without side effects.

The team is also exploring whether the same cells play a pathological role in other age-related conditions, including cancer and neurodegeneration.

In the brain, for example, microglia—the macrophages of the central nervous system—may be susceptible to senescence in conditions like Alzheimer’s disease, where they are exposed to large amounts of cell debris as neurons die.

The researchers see their work as a demonstration of the geroscience hypothesis: that a single fundamental mechanism of aging—in this case, the accumulation of senescent macrophages—may underlie not one but many of the diseases that shorten and diminish human life.

“If you really understand the basic mechanisms driving inflammation with aging, you can target those same mechanisms to treat not just fatty liver disease, but atherosclerosis, Alzheimer’s and cancer,” said Salladay-Perez.

“It all goes back to understanding how these cells arise in the first place.”

UCLA researchers highlight a previously underappreciated driver of fatty liver disease (also called metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease or MASLD/MASH), chronic inflammation (”inflammaging”), and aspects of biological aging: a hidden buildup of senescent “zombie” immune cells, specifically macrophages in the liver.

Cellular senescence is a stress response where cells permanently stop dividing to avoid becoming cancerous, but they don’t die. Instead, they linger and secrete a toxic mix of inflammatory molecules (called the senescence-associated secretory phenotype, or SASP).

While this is helpful short-term (e.g., during wound healing), in chronic conditions it fuels damage.

In this study, the “zombies” are a specific subset of liver macrophages (immune cells that normally clear debris and regulate inflammation). They become senescent due to aging and excess cholesterol from diet.

Researchers are now screening for safer senolytics. The mouse results are promising but need human trials. This isn’t a “cure-all” or excuse to ignore diet—high cholesterol still initiates the problem.

President Trump said Thursday he has ordered the US Navy to take lethal action against any Iranian vessels attempting to lay mines in the Strait of Hormuz — escalating tensions despite a fragile cease-fire with Tehran.

“Additionally, our mine ‘sweepers’ are clearing the Strait right now,” he added. “I am hereby ordering that activity to continue, but at a tripled-up level!”

The directive came just hours after the War Department confirmed the seizure of a sanctioned tanker carrying Iranian oil in the Indian Ocean — the second such interception this week.

The developments mark another strain on a repeatedly extended cease-fire meant to halt weeks of clashes between Washington and Tehran, including strikes on military targets and disruptions to global shipping lanes.

President Trump most recently extended the truce Tuesday, saying it would remain in place while Iran works to produce a “unified” proposal ahead of a second round of peace talks in Islamabad, Pakistan.

But tensions have continued to simmer.

Iranian-linked vessels and proxy forces have repeatedly threatened commercial traffic in the Strait of Hormuz — a vital artery for global oil shipments — using naval mines and fast-moving boats to harass and damage tankers.

Meanwhile, Politico reported Thursday that British military divers are preparing to carry out mine-clearing operations in the strait as part of a potentially multinational effort, with Royal Navy specialists trained in explosive ordnance disposal ready to deploy alongside autonomous mine-hunting systems, according to the United Kingdom’s Ministry of Defense.

The UK and other European nations have spent weeks talking about a broader coalition mission to secure the waterway and restore safe navigation.

But so far, those efforts have largely remained in the planning stages.

The US has stepped up maritime enforcement in response, intercepting ships suspected of helping Tehran skirt sanctions as part of a broader campaign to choke off funding for its military operations.

Diplomatic efforts, meanwhile, remain uncertain.

Talks aimed at de-escalation have faltered, with Iranian officials at times declining to engage even as US envoys push for renewed negotiations.

President Trump’s latest order signals a more aggressive posture at sea — one that could either force Tehran back to the table or further destabilize an already fragile cease-fire.

The president told The Post on Wednesday that “it’s possible” fresh developments on renewed talks with Iran could come as soon as Friday.

The American military has “total control over the Strait of Hormuz,” according to President Trump, who added, “No ship can enter or leave without the approval of the United States Navy. It is ‘Sealed up Tight,’ until such time as Iran is able to make a DEAL!!!”
